Getting Started...

Before beginning piano lessons, several important factors should be considered to ensure a successful learning experience. First, having daily access to a piano or keyboard is essential, as regular practice is key to mastering the instrument. It’s also beneficial to establish a consistent practice schedule, allowing the student to develop their skills steadily. During lessons, we will set specific goals, such as learning a particular song or technique, which provides motivation and direction. I schedule one recital per year which is beneficial for my students to gain the skill of performing for others. Learning an instrument takes time and dedication, and a love of learning.

Requirements for Lessons

Students must have daily access to a tuned 88-key piano or keyboard, and a willingness to learn.

Age Requirement

Children must be at least 6 years old to enroll in our piano lessons.

Instrument Requirement

A working, tuned instrument with 88 keys is essential for effective learning.
